A little about us...
Inspired by the British countryside, travel and the earthy tones of nature, our organic cotton baby clothes are perfect for little ones. A family run business founded by two sisters and their lovely mum, our clothing is made with love and care from the original hand paintings to the final detail in the handmade products.
The Little Brave Face family journey began during our year long adventure around South East Asia and Sydney, Australia. Two sisters on a break from careers in both Marketing and Interior Design, we soon found ourselves with an idea to set up our own business. Inspired by the local artists we came across during our travels, it wasn’t long before we were both picking up a paintbrush again and rekindling our love for art.
Upon returning home to Nottinghamshire with ideas in mind, we quite naturally turned our dream into a family business, with our incredible Mum joining the venture. With years of experience as a dressmaker and working for a leading designer in Nottinghamshire, we worked closely with our Mum in creating a range of baby leggings using our exclusive watercolour prints, with sights set to expand our range in the near future. Running on cups of tea and biscuits, we love crafting our work together and we hope you love our creations as much as we do.
With little ones in mind, we only want to use the softest fabric which is kind and safer for baby’s skin. Our organic cotton is GOTS certified, which is a worldwide leading textile standard for organic fibres and provides trust in the fabric which we are using. Not only is it durable and provides more comfort for baby’s skin, organic cotton is also more environmentally friendly as fibres are grown without the use of synthetic fertilisers or toxic pesticides.
Our sustainable approach
From using organic fabric printed with water-based Oeko-Tex standard 100 certified inks, to our choice in packaging, we are striving to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Our packaging proudly consists of recyclable boxes, wrapping, stickers and postcards. One step at a time we are hoping to spread our love for helping the planet.
